More Bic Stick Hexagons

I posted one of these (second from the left) not long ago and decided to do a few more. time for break from these,

but I have a few more colors to complete the set.
left to right - castelo, unknown, macassar ebony, unknown rosewood and snakewood.

I do like the idea of re purposing something so basic into a nice to hold unit!

This with a follow rest, necessary to keep the thin stock from deflecting.
the most challenging part is drilling a 9/64th hole 6" + long. After a number of trials I have found a system that works consistently By starting with short bits, keeping the tip of the bit near the jaws and drilling from both ends.
