I need to make a few molds for small jewelry pieces like crosses etc. Would this be the right product? US Composites - 74-30 RTV Liquid Urethane

Chris what are you going to produce with the molds after you
make them?
Yes that will make reusable molds. here are a couple other suppliers as well

depends on what you're going to put in the molds once you've
made them.. there are different molds for different applications.
The molds we often use around here can take a lot of heat
(compared to resin temps) but not enough for pewter (which
is a relatively low temp metal)
So .. whatcha makin?

I'd probably go with silicone, but that's because it is what I'm used to.
I've used the US Composites urethane, then switched to the TinSil 25.
Then I went to Oomoo and then Mold Max from Smooth-On.. mostly
because I can go there and talk to someone in person and pick their
brains..

Thanks, guys. I ordered from US Composites last night, so I'll try that our first and see what's what.
