Mold making

I've made a object out of hardwood on the CNC Router and now want to use OOMOO-30 to make a mold of the object. Do I have to seal the wood with anything before pouring mold material over it? If so what would I use?

I use a few coats of high gloss spray lacquer and then wax it. Never had an issue.
