Was playing with some colors and did not like what I had so I decided to waste the B side instead of finishing. I have some bad A side that has absorbed too much ambient moisture. Mixed them together and poured it in a single mold just to see what it would have looked like. Well the A side that made my casts not cure has now soaked up more moisture and it went to overflowing.

Ha, y'all are cracking me up. First thought was to recast but this thing had thousands of little bubbles. No way yo get the resin to flow into them all.

I know, I look at that little slice off a blank and say, I'll save that for a segmented piece...

No problem, make a batch of resin to get it into blank form, drill it, fill it, drill it, and have a batch of resin made up as you turn it, cure it, turn it again. Just a couple steps...

Seems like a lot of steps for something that will probably be thrown away.

As I say that I'm looking at a piece of broken mango from a kitless oen that had an oops moment. It's been on my desk for 6 months because I know I'll find a way to save it. But I can throw it away anytime I want. . . . . . . . . . . really I can!!
