Mod Podge

Wondering if it matters if I use matte or gloss mod podge with labels and stickers? Anyone have experience with matte vs. gloss? Thanks!

I have only used gloss. I was wondering the same thing when I made my pen. My thinking was I am going to be putting a gloss finish on it so why not use gloss mod pogde. Hopefully some one with experience with both will chime in.

matte finishes usually contain flatteners in them to dull the gloss. You can always
take a gloss finish down to satin or even matte, but you can't bring a matte
finish back up to gloss.

...or neither...at least with labels. I don't use it with labels and have excellent results. I;ve not cast stickers, but I have used it with stamps and I used the gloss. Not sure I needed it though.
