Seems like here lately my casting has been up and down like a roller coaster. I thought I would try some different things to se if I could find out what happened. The first thing I tried was gluing the label to the tube with elmers glue, which I have always used, and then sprayed the gloss mod podge to seal it. When I cast it separated so I thought I didn,'t let the sealer cure. I called the manufacturer to get a cure time and tried again with the same results. Then tried the liquid mod podge glue and sealer gloss, waited two days and cast and it doesn't seem as clear as it should be. I called the manufacturer and asked about a cure time and they said 4-6 weeks. That seems to be a long time to wait to cast a pen so the question is those that use mon podge exactly what type do you use and how long do you wait to cast the blank. Thanks for your help Kenny

I am currently doing some tobacco wrapped tubes and have used the brush on mod podge to seal them before casting and because of my schedule, it was a week before I did the casts and they came out crystal clear.

This thread just came up within the last week Kenny. Do a search under Mod Podge and see what pops up. If you check Youtube, there is some casting info there using Mod Podge. Hope that helps!
