I received this personalized MiniG 3/8" oval bowl gouge yesterday from CryoSteel Engineering & Technology.

What a pleasant surprise since I am not expecting this! You should see me when I opened the package in my car! :D;)[:I]

WooHOO!!!

I think I should buy a lottery ticket today [:p]

Wow, I'm impressed that they were able to squeeze that many letters onto the handle! [:D]

The "green eyed monster of jealousy" (I've been watching too many kid's TV shows!) has bitten me, so I'm not going to say anything more.

Dario,

I understand that happened because you are a nice guy! See, nice guys don't finish last! [:)]

When you get a chance to try this out, we would love to have your impressions! (You too, Chris!)

Scott.

Scott,

I was wondering how they got my address...now I think I know. [;)]

To think that UPS almost sent it back since they missed delivery 3 times! the first 2 while we were out of town last week. The 3rd time (this Monday), the driver left before my wife got to the door. We went to pick it up Tuesday and we were told the customer service is closed after 6. I went again Wednesday and finally got it...just in time since we are on our way out of town. I almost gave up on it since I wasn't expecting anything anyway.

The weight and quality of the tool is extremely nice...I will report how it holds its edge as soon as I got the chance to use it well.

I received Chris' second gouge last week and sent it to him. I hope he sends me mine soon so I have my real second gouge and he has only two instead of his two and one of mine..........[}:)][}:)][;)]

Best,
Roger Garrett

Michael,

MiniG is a mini Glaser...any store that sells Glaser tools should have this. Search/google "Hitec Glaser" and you should find lots of vendors.

They are not cheap but as you know...most premium tools aren't but you do get what you pay for.
