Milwaukee area, free trees

Posting from Craigslist this morning.

Have 3 Black Walnut trees to cut down and remove from property.1 is close to the house.Other two are somewhat close to the garage.Make alot of firewood.Wood can also be used for woodworking,it's expensive ,do whatever you want with it.The 2 trees in the back were struck by lighning and the branchs are falling off.The other is 2 close to the house</u>

I'm already committed to cutting down a Black Walnut in Milwaukee. Those word of being close to the house and garage are a little scary.

What is so scary about it? It's not your house....LOL[}]

A couple of good ropes and someone that can handle a saw can have them down without any damages. If they are worth the money, hire a tree service to just drop them and chip the unwanted stuff.

Scary is right.

If you are not an arborist (and bonded/insured), it is not worth the risk. I've seen trees behaved differently when cut from what you may think they will.
