Can someone tell me what order the micro mesh is or if I have it right. The list that came with it and the list I downloaded doesn't have the same colors as the micro meshI have.

OK, I'm the new kid on the block here but, I've had the same problem. After looking at your picture either you have them lined up right or we're both wrong. I use the smaller chart you have on the right of the picture. Hope this helps.

I have the same ones and you have them right. All i did was take a marker and but 1-9 on them and that is the order taht i uses them

What I did was stacked them all up, drew a vertical line down one edge of the stack, and then a another diagonal line from corner to corner on the side of stack. That way I can quickly get them back in the right order.

I don't get the ones with such similar colors. I think I get them from CSUSA (plastics sanding kits) and sand down to 600 with paper so don't even use the first micro pad (yellow, as I recall). That leaves me with 5 distinctly different colors-orange, green. purple, light blue and grey, and that's it. I've done hundreds of acrylics with these and it's perfect. Going through all 8 on each and every pen would literally be a pain in the back for me.

But that's just me!

As you can see from the colors I have and the charts there is definately 3 different sets of colors and when you get to the finer grits they all feel the same. I'll mark them like Steve says which I think is a great idea when I know they are in the right order.
Dale it might be overkill going through all the pads but I also use polish after these and I love the shiny glass finish it leaves behind. And it only takes seconds. Compared to what I use to come up with, a price well spent. I believe the 5 pads you use is probably the same as the finer grits here. never thought about paper up to 600 which would knock off the first couple pads but then the pads last longer I think.
