OK So I move from KY to OK from Jan.- Apr. 2010. When I left, the place was Mayberry. When I returned the place was Methberry!!! I couldn't count on one hand the number of people I no longer associate with because they decided they wanna be tweekers!!! Like the guy who taught me guitar!!! We were supposed to start a band together!!! Yesterday, I caught him smoking it in the room in which we practice!!! I was furious!!! Needless to say, the "band" is no longer using him as our lead guitarist!!!!

That sucks to hear man. Do you practice in a trailer? Or is there trailers near?? (Inside joke..... Couldn't help myself, I am sure my buddy Jeff will be along eventually to take the joke even further!)

Seriously now, Stay away from that junk bro. Like you already know, It really is nothing but trouble!! I am proud to hear his Guitar ability didn't override your smarts! Guitar players are many. Your shot at life is ONE!

That was for Ron! Seriously, both of my kids got hooked a few yrs ago. I am proud of them for walking away from it. It is a terrible "disease" that as you know wrecks a life and everyone around.
 
Sounds like what's happening around here, no tilers though, thery busted some cookersd in a 300,00 dollar house in Memphis, . the real bitch is it's hitting every social-economic area in the country

Actually, no trailers in my neighborhood. It was a SMALL building behind his house. As far as I know he wasn't smoking it in the house. He was living with my brother until yesterday when I told him. He was asked to leave for fear of my nephew safety!!!!!
 
That seems to be the common thing in eastern ky. It's either Meth. or Oxycontin. Sad, sad, situation.
 
Yup... Meth is some bad bad stuff... There are much better things to do with your time!!!

Now where did i leave that three foot bong??!!...
 
I know that everyone has that point in your life where you have to say no and put up boundaries. Good job on saying no.

I know many people that quit meth, pot, heroin Etc. They all say the same thing they are very addicting especially meth. Stay clear of them at all cost because I know so many people that say they got hooked the first time.

They say that 'Meth' is a one hit hook! Ain't worth it, for love or money!!! I don't smoke or drink......never saw the attraction in it! I can find more productive/fun ways to flush my money!!!

Meth has come and gone in our area. The epidemic we have is heroin. The nastiest drug I have ever seen. Most of them are starting with the home drug dealer the medicine cabinet. Popping pills then to the black tar heroin. Far as the Meth, get involved with local law enforcement report activity even if it is your friends. That is how we got rid of it. Take out the cookers take out meth
