Just a couple of weeks away from January 18 meeting at Norfolk Woodcraft from 9:30 am - 12:00pm. We will be sharing ideas and applications for metal foil pen making. If you have made one of these pens before, please bring it to the meeting to show everyone your pens.

Sound like a good meeting. Just a little far for to run down there.
I have turned some that Phil(firewhatfire) has made. They look great!

Please post pics of the results when you get that far.
 
We have only made a handful so far and as usual, I never follow status quo designs but we do have a couple other members that make great ones that look more like you have...I will be sure to post photos of the pens shown at the meeting.
 
That is a cool pen! The texturing is different than I have seen and to me the copper pieces look as if they represent something like the shape of a state or something.....so, are they random or specific shapes?
