Rob (great12b4ever) won a few of my items off eBay and decided to make the trip here to pick up the wood. His excuse was to save on shipping but knowing gas prices (he lives around Houston) and hotel costs...I know it is just that, an EXCUSE!!! No matter what he says, I am not buying it! LOL [}

Anyway, we met him and his wife (Mary) and once more re-affirmed my faith in woodworkers and especially IAP members. We had lots of fun talking about anything and everything like only old friends could. We did talk about turning, shop, wood, etc. but he turned out to be much much more talented than I could ever imagine. I am deeply impressed and humbled. What fun and wonderful couple that I am proud to call friends. [^] They are added to the list of people who are always welcome back to visit us.
BTW, regarding his excuse, he left me a lot more cash than his eBay winnings. Of course his pickup truck is a bit heavier on the way back too.[}] LOL
