I just wanted to wish all my penturning chums a VERY Merry Christmas and a Safe and Prosperous New Year. I've not been around much in the last year or so, but things may be looking up in that department. Between the move back to the Great State of Texas and situations with family, I've been busier than a feline concealing fecal matter. And no shop set up yet to boot.
And do me a favor please. Keep LOML and her family in your prayers. Her younger brother had surgery about 18 months ago and his kidneys haven't worked since. He has been on dialysis two to three times a week and is not a transplant candidate because of a vascular disease. Long story short, he received his final treatment last Friday and they removed the failing port Saturday AM. He has only a few weeks at most. The truly sad part is that this will be the third brother she's lost under the age of 50.
But the good news is that ALL our kids and grandkids will be with us for Christmas for the first ime in many years. Even a previous foreign exchange student is joining us this year. This makes me very, very .
