As of this post we have more than 40 prizes donated and $4168 raised to aid JohnnyCNC and his family in their time of need. As I have said many times, you folks are incredible!!

The raffle will end at midnight Tuesday July 1, using the forum time. We will have a list of prizes, numbered by the order they were posted on the prize thread. I will pull my PayPal account history and assign the appropriate number of tickets to each person. The tickets will be mixed until my arms get tired, and then we will draw tickets until we have reached the number of prizes. I will post the list of winners, and request that the donor and winner make contact with each other so that the donor gets the address to send the package. I will try to have that done by the end of the day Wednesday so that winners will be posted that day.

Mike, LOL!! PayPal refused to waive their fees even though I told them it was for a good cause. Actually I was wrong as I forgot to add in a $50 check I received. Since you are our math guru :D I'll let you come up with the new total!! :D[}:)];)

I don't think I have ever been prouder to a part of any group than at this given moment (even with the weird math-see below) ;)

Cav is right - this is a great group of folks and it's nice to know that when the chips are down our little "family" is willing to take care of one another. I hope everyone that took/takes part feels really great about this - I know I do.

Hear! Hear! Way to go gang. Now...hmmm...if everyone that has already bought tickets sent in just $5.00 more we could get it to $5000. Sounds like a good round number to me!:D:D[:p][:p]:D

See? I tried telling everybody that time was running out. Guess I was a little too cryptic. :D

Remember ...... At the very moment that July 1st becomes July 2nd ..... it will be too late to buy more tickets.

Some people out of my church go down to those disaster areas every year and do clean up. Fact is,my best friend and some others are down in Iowa right now cleaning up. I guess I'll have to buy a ticket.:D

I agree with you guys and Mrs. K , I have met Johnny when he went out of his way to drop off some parts I ordered . To exit I-465 at Emerson Ave . in rush hour traffic on his way home from a long day at work , then fight to get back on I-465 and face the daily back-up to I-65 south to Columbus , In . is over and above , anyones expectations . Wanting to get home , but still listened to my rambling about turning pens . I just can't say enough about Johnny and the products I've received from him . And now his home and life , is in shambles . I have donated twice , and now going for the third . If anyone cares to follow , PLEASE DO ! Thanks Johnny !!! :)

UPDATE

As of this post, we have raised $4599.00 (On this raffle, I cannot absorb the PayPal fees, which results in odd numbers rather than multiples of 5)

I appreciate the support shown to this raffle. However, I do not wish to see pressure put on members in any way. Participation in any raffle or other fund-raising activities is STRICTLY VOLUNTARY. I do not wish to be seen as making membership in this wonderful community be tied to donations in any way shape or form.

Please review the ticket buyers list in the Members In Need forum. If you find a mistake or omission, please PM me ASAP, as I am starting the process of preparing the tickets for drawing of the winners.

Thanks to everyone.
