Member map

I just noticed that I am no longer shown on the member map even though my Geocode is still in my profile. Several other members within a few hours drive are also missing. Has anyone else noticed if they have been deleted from the map? Does anyone (Jeff) know why some members are no longer shown on the map? I noticed this when I saw a member state that he is from the same city and went to the map to see if there were any other nearby members that have recently added pins to the map.

Paul,
I had to redo my info earlier in the year, as mine disappeared. I think that the map was on another site originally, so I'm guessing when they put up one here, all info had to be reintroduced.

Rob,
I have a member less than 1 year and I recall seeing my pin on IAP's member map just a few months ago. At that time, a list of all of the members included on the map was listed on the side. It isn't anymore. I'm thinking that some recent changes to this site has caused some members to be left off of the map. I will try re-entering my geocode and see if that fixes it.

The map has a couple problems right now. I'm working on it. One of the issues is that people put all kinds of weird stuff in the geocode field. I TRY to filter it out, but someone always comes up with something I have not considered. Right now, there is something in one of the 500+ entries with a bad character. I'll find it...
