Jeff Marsden has arranged for us to meet at Woodcraft in Seattle on Sunday March 11th from 1 to 3 or 4. He has offered to talk about casting acrylic pen blanks. We could also have a pen blank exchange. We may want to bring any pens or new tools for show and tell. We should look at electing a new leader and planning future meetings. I hope many of you will be able to attend.

Meeting

Thank you to all that attended the meeting today. This was the largest group we have had so far. I feel that a lot of good information and ideas were exchanged. A special thanks to Jeff for not only putting the meeting together, but also for demonstrating the casting an acrylic blank. It appeared all had fun and learned something new. Sorry, I did not take any pictures. Maybe someone who did will post some. I am looking forward to our next meeting.

It was a good meeting. Starting to think that people who cast want us to think casting is hard so the rest of us don't do it but Jeff made it look easy. Saw a lot of cool pens. Glad to hear that we will be doing this on a regular basis again.
