There was a wealthy old man in my community, he has been gone for a few years. You would recognize the name of the company he started, you've see it on Nascar and many other places. He knew how to make money in the automotive industry, but most of all he had a passion for farming; he especially liked good horses and cattle.

On Sunday's at least once a month he and his wife would pick up his widowed sister and take her to church and out to dinner, all of them were in their 70s at the time. After lunch they liked nothing more than to take a drive through the country and look over the farms. He wasn't at all shy about stopping and talking to just about anybody he came across to talk about horses and cattle.

They stopped to talk to a man and his 8 year old son out in their barnyard. The son was very proud of his horse, telling the old gentleman how smart the mare was and how they were going to breed her and he was going to raise the baby horse all by himself.

The old folks were impressed and one of the women said "where are you going to breed your horse sonny?" The little boy gave her a confused look and then lifted up the mare's tale and pointed.

Gerry, that reminds me of a Will Rodgers story when his father asked him to take a cow over to neighbors farm to get her serviced, he peeked through a hole in the fence saw what was going on, and now he understands what happens when you visit service stations, (still holds true today)
