What is the market (online or store) for quality handmade pens? Is it a tough sell? Any tips?

It can be done, but it is tough. Pens are a hands on item. The big secret to online pen sales, is good quality pics and good descriptions.

It can be done. I have a dealer network setup but took me two years to get to that point. The key is no consignment and the dealer needs to know that you will be around. To many dealers have been burned in the past. Two things made my business grow was being published in stylus and wearing out a lot of leather. I spend more time in trying to get business than making the product. I do have a sales goal to meet this year. I am now up to 12 dealers nation-wide.
If you are just starting turning try making local sales before looking at the internet or brick and mortar. I hope by the end of the year to begin to see a profit from all of our hard work.
