I have some customers that want very specific color combinations in an acrylic swirl. Any ideas as to where I can go to get this done? I've never made my own so wouldn't know where to begin.

Thanks!

Ross let me add to the endorsement of Jonathon Brooks. He has done several special casts for me and each time he is "spon on" for the color match I gave him. He is "The Master Caster"

I have not dealt with Jonathon but his reputation is certainly that of a 'master caster'

What colours are you looking for? Before going 'custom' you might be able to find what you are looking for elsewhere.

And there are many other members here who would love the opportunity and use PR or Alumilite resins. PTownsubbie, ElMostro, Sylvanite, Wolftat, Eborraga, G1Pens, SDB777, Ruby Pen Turning, Sumterdad and myself. There are of course many others, but these are the ones that jumped out at me in a glance.

Just to be certain you are representing your product accurately to your customer--nobody is going to make you an acrylic blank. Creating acrylic requires heat and pressure that cannot be done "in the kitchen".

You can have any of the folks mentioned cast a polyresin or alumilite. Both good resin blanks, neither is an acrylic.

If you'll be in need of custom blanks frequently, I would suggest learning to cast on your own. At least give it a shot. It's not necessarily difficult, but might not be worth your time and money. If that's the case, or you need these fairly quickly, then talk to some of the members who have already been mentioned...
