I am looking for a durable, quality, cost effective scale to use for weighing packages for online shipping from home.

I know many people here ship from home so where did you purchase your scale and would you purchase the same one again if needed?

I got mine off Amazon. It's an UltraShip Ultra-55. I've been using it for over 2 years and it's still going strong. Digital display with selectable weights (pounds, pounds plus ounces, ounces and of course all the metric stuff) and Tare/Zero standard.

I'd buy it again when the time comes. It has a detachable face that extends approx 2 feet from the main unit. That's handy for weighing large boxes that would normally cover the display.

I have the little blue one that you can buy from the post office for $20.00 it has a weight limit of 10 lbs so once in a while I have to resort to the bathroom scale. for 99% of my packages though it works just fine.

I do a lot of ebay shipping, and I use a WeighMax scale I got off of there. It has a 75lb limit, and a detachable readout for large packages. I've had it for quite a while now, and think it was @ $20, shipping included. The only issue I've ever had with it is that it doesn't like wi-fi. The readout gets screwy if I use it too close to the laptop. I'd buy it again.

I got mine at Office Depot. It is a Royal (I think) and came with software to use with my computer. Under $40 IIRC. Has served me well for about 3 years now.

I got mine from a head shop....... oh wait... wrong mail scales....

Where'd you get it and how much did it cost?

Please and thank you,
