My first fountain pen. To make it my pen, the acrylic blank, as unique as any blank can be. I pained the inside of the tube with acrylic paint and a que tip. White at the tip, red in the middle and black at the cap end. Not really happy with the applications, went on thick and I had to sand down to get the tube to slide in. Next time I will try spray painting the inside. Lastly, added some curve to the barrel. I measure the caps and turned to their dimension not the bushings. Finished with micro mesh, Dr. Dirks scratch free and micro magic polishing wax, final buff with Meguiar's Deep Crystal Carnauba Wax.
Lessons Learned:
Painting the tube with spray painting
Use a can of compressed air to blow the dust off the surface and pen for photographing
Create my own acrylic blanks, colors, and patterns
