One of the towns in our valley made the front page of Yahoo news today. El Centro, Ca. is listed as one of the towns in the US with the highest car theft. The cars are stolen by the Mexican Cartel to transport drugs back across the border. That's a bummer:bad: We live about 15 miles from El Centro:frown:

If you drive a "theft wagon", you may want to get a battery quick disconnect. Inconvenient for you, yes, but PIA for thief.

Don't really worry about it at our place, Ed. We live out in the country where all the farm equipment for the ranch is kept, parked. Have workers coming in and out the lot all the time so there is always someone around. We and our neighbors all watch out for each other as much as we can being around the field instead of around the block.

BTW, I got a new 2009 F150 right before taxes went up. Man, I love that truck. We park our trucks between large containers so people can't see them from the road.

You think that's bad Becca...the town I live in has a festival, it's called the Damn Festival for one and the feature attraction is a horse drawn funeral procession.
