This 5" flex tube is heavy duty. It's thick and heavy. I was working with Tru-Oil and noticed this after a few weeks. If it'll eat a vinyl tube away it'll make mince meat out of the lungs. Please be careful … certain materials are dangerous to inhale. Wear the proper respirator when using finishes and glues.

Thanks for highlighting this. When I turn or use CA glue I use a heavy duty respirator too. Being a doctor I am worried as well about my lungs. I also noticed I would get some allergic sneeze if I used CA without proper protection. Some timbers of course can be carcinogenic as well, we have one in Australia that is very carcinogenic called Grass Tree (Xanthorrhoea australis) commonly called " Black Boy" (not politically correct to use these days) that is very toxic and carcinogenic. People do turn them, I personally have not. Lovely timber though.
