To start the Independence Day celebration early, Lowe's retail stores offer 10% off most in-store purchases when you show a military ID. This discount applies for active duty, reserve, and retired military personnel plus their immediate families. It's valid for purchases of up to $5,000, with some items excluded. Deal ends July 4.

my father in law is retired Navy and all you have to do at Lowe's is tell them. no ID or proof required. I have used it when they were running promo before with no problems.

i'm retired navy as well and lowes are real good about the military discount. i use it every holiday that they have the special on. in fact the wife has a new project going and now would be a good time to get the materials! thanx
