Just drove down the street from the store and my jaw dropped when I saw that a neighbor has cut down his cedar trees. They were very old trees that were planted by one of the settler families here in Carrollton around the turn of the last century. Anyway, there's an enormous pile of huge logs piled up by the curb for the trash truck. Great for bowls and other projects.

Send me a PM if you're in the area and would like the address. You can view the trees using street view on Google maps. It's a shame the trees were cut down.

Our garbage is picked up on Thursday, so this pile will stay there until then. I have no interest in resawing any of this in 100 degree heat, but I'll pull out a few small ones to use.
