I have the general international lathe. The handles for tightening the toolrest, tailstock, etc... all have a flathead screw and a spring on them. Well... they used to. I have lost two of them, one for the tool rest and one for the outboard tool rest. Does anyone have a clue where I can get new ones? I contacted the company, and they want me to buy the whole handle at $5.15 each. It's just kind of a pita continually having the handle on my tool rest keep falling off, yaknow?

The screw should be some standard size available off the rack at the bos home centers. I've also seen springs at one of them and Harbor Freight has a pkg of assorted springs. Should'nt be difficult to fins some replacements. I know...famous last words...'
Do a good turn daily!
