I find antique chisels at flea markets and yard sales. I prefer socket chisels, but will rehandle tangs.

I do not recall seeing new chisels without handles.

There are a lot of vintage chisel listed on eBay. Search for "socket chisel". Also, do a Google search for "Millwright Chisels".

Lie-Nielson has a set of socket chisels with removable handles, so you can custom turn your own. Not sure you want to pay $50 - $70 per chisel.

I saw an article a few months ago, about removing the plastic handles from new chisels and replacing with turned wooden handles. I do not remember where I saw it. If I find it I will post a link.
