Hey all. I have wanted to make a sign for my shop that reads Dawg House for a couple of years now. but what I want it to look like is very specific.
First of all i want it to be one line with letters about 6 inches tall. this means the wood has to have about 48 inches of surface that can be lettered. I also want an old rotten looking piece of wood. you know the stuff that has been floating in the lake all summer and has the ends rotted off it real jagged like. maybe a piece of an old boat ramp or real old barn wood. I know it is going to be hard to find wood rotten on the ends but still solid in the middle. But that thar is what I be wantin. and where I live wantin is free so i do lots of it.
If anyone has anything they think will fit the bill please PM, E-mail or post it here. I am thinking a1x or 2x8 at least 5 feet long. I know this makes mailing a big PITA but if you ask my wife I am pretty well practiced at that.
