Went to home depot today to pick up some shelving for the shop and low and behold( had to look throught he tools section first) the Ridgid table saw with the granite top that i bought for $499 reduced from $599 had been reduced again! To how much you say? Try $299!!!!!! I'm sick. But was worth it to me when i bought it. JUst thought anyone lookin for a good table saw might want a heads up. Dont forget..lifetime warranty when registered online.

Bought it nov. 16. Guess im a little late.Is a great saw for the price i paid . would be an exceptional saw fro that price. Hope somebody needy gets one.

here you go. http://www.ridgid.com/Tools/R4511-Table-Saw/EN/index.htm Wish i had waited a little longer. Had been putting it off and watching this saw for about six months. Home depot was out of the old saw which is almost the same except had a cast iron table and sold for about 549. When it dropped $100 just before december i jumped on it. Jumped a little too soon but my wife said if i kept waiting it would never go down. Thought it was a decent deal at the $599 price.Check out the reviews.Basically a cabinet saw with a built in caster set up. Hope you have some friends if you buy one...it wieghs abot 400lbs assembeled.Almost 500 in the box!

The Ridgid Tablesaw sure looks a lot like my Craftsman 10" Model #OR35505. The only obvious differences are the granite top and a portable base which the Ridgid has and the Craftsman doesn't. I bought the Craftsman four months ago for the list price. I was really lovin' it until I saw this. I'm afraid I took it in the shorts again!

Guess what Tim got today? Sparhawk, thanks for posting this! Got up this morning and started calling the three Home Depots in my area, First one had them for $299, checked their stock, none available. Second store>> same deal:mad:, third and final store, one in stock, and it was the display model.:biggrin::biggrin: Talked them into saving it for me until I could get there (about 45 min). Man, you wasn't lying about that thing being HEAVY! Thanks again for posting this, I am tickled to death!

Glad i could help. Wish i had waited a little longer. But was well worth the money at $499. Couldnt beleive they dropped it that much. And dont forget to register your saw online and get a lifetime warranty.

Sparhawk i also want to thank you for the notice. I had been looking at this saw as well but $600.00 was out of my budget. called about ten stores within a 100 mile radius and picked it up. They had one left at the pell city store but i think it was already spoken for as well. Thanks again. Now i have to break my back to get this thing ready.
