Lookey what I got.It took me about an hour or two to get it to work. But she works like a champ now.Moved it into my home theater last weekend. We have a Wii,X-Box 360 and a Playstation 3 in the theater and all the kids are gathered around a video game from 1982.(the pic is in the garage just after getting it working they just could'nt wait).Go figure.Best of all it was given to me because it did'nt work.

Boy that brings back some real fond memories. I used to spend hours playing space invaders and asteroids, and then when tempest came out I went missing for about two months. Never quite got the hang of the pac man games, though. I was good for about 7 levels of patterns, and then gulp!

Good times! Heh..you got me feeling all nostalgic now. Think I'll put on some Hall and Oates and my black parachute pants. Oh wait...anyone got an eight track I can borrow? :D

I know what you mean.Just looking at it brings back memories of real arcades with real games that were fun to play.Wish I had all the quarters back that I put in those things.I loved Tempest.Wish I had that one.

Don't let my mother see that! She hates the new generation video games (nintendo, saturn, xbox, PS and on)and still is madly in love with Pac Man & Ms Pac Man. She even has the old atari console with both games. On the other hand, I should really look into getting one of those for her birthday this fall...now she'll have time to play (she's retired)...hmmmmmmm.....Thanks for the memory lane trip!

man all you need now is a change machine and some black lights and you got yourself a video arcade. i have a feeling there's going to be a lot of kids hanging out at your place now... :) that looks fun.

The one in the background is Frogger.Waiting on parts for Frogger. After a little work with it I have sound and gameplay just no video. It has a bad board on the high voltage side of the monitor. Will need a new monitor. No biggie.

Very nice. You may be interested in this. It is a full size MAME emulator that I built myself. It plays close to 2000 different games - all original roms from the actual arcade boards. You can see more construction photos at http://thegibsons.net/gallery/Mame-Cabinet

Also, if you are really into restoration you should check out this guys place. I can't even imagine how much time and money this took...
