Local suppliers?

I'm heading into NOLA this week and was wondering if there are any local supply houses? In Dallas we have a couple woodcraft shops and. A few smaller places. Is there anything like it there?

This may be a little late but the answer is no. Acadiana Hardwoods in Ponchatoula is the closest thing and the inventory is limited there. Still if they have the one thing that you want in wood then the inventory is irrelevant. They don't stock tools or accessories.
