Since I am new to this forum, I was wandering if there was a way to see a list of memebers by location. Might be good to set up gatherings or even find someone close that has experience and would like to share with others.

Go up to Member Tools, drag down to Member Map. Those who have chosen to reveal their locations (or not in the witness protection program) will be found there.

Don't think that map is working very well. When I tried it a few moments ago, it only showed 3 pushpins in it, now I know that there are more than 3 people that have their geo code entered in.

I haven't checked the member map for a while because (in the past) whenever I do, my computer locks up and I have to reboot. [B)]

This has been proposed in the past and it worked! Many pen makers found they were close to another, then slowly but surely it went away.
I like it because it can bring us closer and seeing it done is such a powerful learning tool...

"FRITZ64" ... Look at the "MEMBER TOOLS" at the right of the BIG IAP at the top of this page, then, "YOUR PROFILE". On the right side section where it asks for your City, State, etc., you should see the section underneath where the geocode is requested. Look along to the bottom of the block and you will see "LOOKUP GEOCODE" This takes you to ... http://worldkit.org/geocoder/
The rest SHOULD be self-explanatory. Be sure to have PEN AND PAPER handy to write down the Geocode this will give you. Then ENTER these numbers into the proper input area in "YOUR PROFILE" ... Good luck!

When I open the membership map at the bottom it says it shows the last 300 people that have been to it or logged on to it or something like that. So I don't think it is showing everybody all the time. Maybe I don't have the correct software installed, don't know.
