Well sort of...more like fixed up.

Many of you have made comments that Linda should have her own lathe. Well today we managed to snag a deal on a brand new Jet 1014VS for $237. Ain't eBay grand! So now all I need to do is pick up a stand when it comes in next week. Since she loves the sun so much I can roll her out into the middle of the driveway.[}:)]

Of course this means getting a few extras like dead centers and live ones. The good thing is this means that I can raise the old Jet a few inches and mount it to a rolling tool cart with drawers. Oh what tangled webs we do weave.

I can see it now.

The local cops pull up, look at the serial number (of the lathe she is using in the middle of the driveway). It matches the group that were stolen and sold on e-bay. Mike gets a few days of quiet at home, alone!!!

You ARE pretty sharp, there Mike!!!:D:D:D

Bye, bye, Lindy!!!!!

Gary - She has her own that she is very particular about. Her fingernail gouge has to be perfect, but now that she has been using my Lacer skew, I will have to consider that. [B)]

Ed - You my friend need to watch what you say, how can I ever get away with anything with you giving away my secrets.

In all seriousness anything to make her happy. Now I need to change our tag line to:
Rule #1 to a good woodworking marriage....
The wife gets her own lathe!

Hey Ed,

Did I ever tell you that my father is a retired police officer (30 years on the force) and NOW he spends his time going around the US training other police departments on the art of Evidence Technology?

Translation: #1 In above scenario Mr. Mike bought stolen property so bye bye Mikey. #2 I know how to hide the evidence when I need to get rid of a body .. be nice to me! [}:)]

Now that is a woman to be reckoned with. If I ever do anything to make Mrs. unhappy, I apologize in advance.
