Left Over Pieces From Curve Side RM bowl

When making a RM bowl with curved sides like this





it always takes more than one piece of flat board to make curved sided RM bowls and it always creates some smaller leftover pieces than can either be discarded or turned into something like this .
It is 4" in diameter. After the lacquer has cured for a few days I will give it a little buffing to increase the shine .

That was just some very dry and very dusty to work with 50 year old cedar that I got from the top portion of a power pole they replaced across the road from me this spring because it was rotting off at ground level .
