Leafy green blank.

I am about to try and cast some leaves and hopefully make an interesting pen. I have some that have been pressed in a book for a year and my first attempt did not come out well. I painted the tube with nail polish and let it set 2 days. I used tire bond translucent to glue the leaf on and let it set 2 days then I cast it in clear pr from hobby lobby. It bubbled up and looks to have separated from the tube in places.

What did I do wrong and what is the proper way to go about doing this?

I'm going to guess that one of the adhesives you used reacted with the PR.

I'm thinking Jim's right. Titebond is polyurethane based. Try the standard old Mod-Podge.:wink:
