Got a real good response from co-workers but, people tend to tell you what you would like to hear when your face to face.:rolleyes:

The bottom pic didn't load for me when I first looked earlier, now it's there and WOW thats beautiful! You're making me want to stop turning for my upcoming show and get into my casting mode. Will have to revist this later on. Looks like the casting bug bit ya good. You've been dusting off your casting supplies this past week or so. Glad you did too!
 
Im not going to tell you what you want to hear, I am going to tell you the truth. they both look great, but the first one is outstanding.I sure wish I could get that good of swirling separation.
 
I like the first, it's awesome.
The lower one..I don't care for the gold/yellow in it. it is nice otherwise.

how's that for real..one Hoosier to another?
 
Thanks... honest responses and critiques.

Seems the concensous here is the same I've received so far, the top one is the favored.
I was asked to make a set of gun grips out of it.

I agree about the bottom one... it could do without the gold but, one guy just loved it. Everyone has different tastes, I guess.
 
I's sure like to see the grips made from the 1st one. I've made3 a few sets of grips, but only with wood.

EDIT: And if you didn't already guess. I like the top one best. But the bottom is nice too.

I think the bottom would have looked better with blue than gold. Problem with gold is some times it may clash on some of the kits with gold trim. At any rate they both look darn good.

Mike- the bottom one does have blue in it. It doesn't show real well until it's rotated. It didn't show on that blank as well as I had hoped either. Maybe the next slice will have more in it.
