This was a lot of fun, but I need to work on some other projects, so I'll show my latest Polymer Clay Pen blank for a little while. This also uses the Controlled Mokume Gane technique. I made a rookie mistake on this pen - I rolled the clay out too thin, so I am way below the bushings. I will keep that in mind when I have another go at this. Ken had mentioned that he stays proud of the bushings, so you can remove material (you can't make clay thicker....).
I did not post this in the "Show Off Your Pens" forum, because the pen is not show off material. But it is good material for blank making,.
Anyway, here are some photos of the process and the finished product. If you watched the "Controlled Mokume Gane" video on YouTube, these colors will look familiar.
