So I'm kinda playing with the idea of a laser engraver to do on pens, coasters and small signs. Does anyone have any recommendations that don't break the bank and are used friendly...

What is your price range? $1300 gets you a full package at Rolyautomation.com. That's for a true 20W diode with enclosure, air assist, exhaust fan and rotary. Their 10W without the rotary runs $900 and it is capable of doing single line engraving on pens as well as coasters and signs. I believe it is worth the extra $400 to get the 20W with the rotary. (The 30W runs another $300 and is getting into the area of breaking the bank!)
