Label Casting (Printers)

Hi guys and gals I'm in the UK and been turning pens a little while now but I'm thinking about learning to label cast I understand the process but have one simple question, what type of printer do I need? Is it a special one or is it just a small printer you can get away with? Also added a picture of some of my work.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Welcome aboard from Washington, Indiana. I have had success with labels using mid-level ink jet type printers from both Canon and Hewitt Packard. Nothing special on the printer side, the labels are the important part.

My Epson ET-3760 works fine. Most folks over hear recommend waterproof Matte inkjet matte paper from OnLineLabels.com.
