Well.. even though I am a new member, I feel like I've been a member since September. That's when my husband (sumterdad) joined. So I actually know a pretty good bit about this site(it's all he talks about) but I can actually say that his persistence has paid off because casting and pen turning is a hobby that I have grown to enjoy with him. Although casting is my favorite, I like turning as well, except when I blow a good looking blank, now that's FRUSTRATING! But all in all I have a pretty good teacher to help me!:wink:

Great to see you!! I hope you both learn a bunch. Does this mean you are going to take a lathe to the beach next time???? ;)

Now you done it Chris, you will always have to stand in line for everything from now on. You remember what your mother taught you, don't you, "Now Chris, ladies first always and hold the door for them." Just stand back and enjoy the view.

Yea I am already looking to figure out how I am gonna get another lathe. Maybe a metal honey it will make work easier:wink::biggrin:
 
Thank's to everyone for all the welcomes!....and Christopher you go right ahead and get that metal lathe...there's a lot I would like for the house...I'll start making my list out :)
