Killing a bandsaw blade---wood gloat

I was resawing the last of the black oak burl this morning.
Slabbing it killed a new bandsaw blade and the drier it get the harder it becomes,
But look at all the color-----this stuff is unreal.:wink:

That a nice looking hunk of wood. Personally I would have liked to see it as a bowl, but you never know what you got till you cut it.

The math is wrong for a bowl-----it sad to say that it's worth a whole bunch more cut up.
