Anyone as happy to see him leave as much as i am? Hopefully Tennessee will look for a dedicated coach with more action on the field other than his mouth.
Urban Meyer is feeling much better already:biggrin:
Maybe Tn. will hire Mike Leach.

That's the most accurate statement of Kiffin I've ever heard!... College football analyst Pat Forde commented it's like Kiffin was born on 3rd base and thinks he hit a triple.
I don't feel so bad for Tennessee..after all, they did buy his BS and hire him in the first place, but I do feel bad for the athletes that were counting on him...that's the most sympathy this Crimson Tide fan can give :tongue:I feel bad for Tennessee. Not so much for USC.
because he'll be the perfect fall guy for all the crap coming down the pipe that Carroll is leaving ahead of...seeing as Kiffin was there when a lot of the USC stuff went down anyway....All of this is fine, but it doesn't answer the real question: why on earth would USC hire Kiffin?

Bingo! Only one who is as retarded as Kiffykins would have taken it.
I don't mean to sidetrack the thread, but the use of terms such as "retarded" when describing someone is really offensive . . . Especially to those IAP members who have loved ones who are intellectually disabled.
It's been in the dictionary since 1895, and the DSMD still uses that nomenclature to classify individuals below 70 on a standard IQ test. It's from the Latin Retardare which means to delay.
Justin . . you don't get it. You're using the term in a derogatory and demeaning fashion to insult someone. Why would you use the term in a negative way when there are IAP member with loved ones who have the disability?
(Actually, "intellectually disabled" is the more accepted term and rapidly replacing "mental retardation" by many professional organizations.)
How would you feel if you had a young child who is "mentally retarded" and you were on the forum reading posts that were an insult by calling someone "retarded"?
Or, what if your child heard another kid in school calling him "retarded"?
