Sad that kind of crap has to happen. I'd a taken that little gal in in a heartbeat. How can anyone have that much against a kid, let alone the parent. Anything they do to them is too easy. They should be beaten to a near pulp & let recover some then beat the h--- out of them again. Then life w/o parole. Give them some long term memories of what the little gal went thru. Yea, I get worked up when I hear of this stuff. There are many people out there that would have given her a loving home for life.
I'll never forget the B----[won't call her a mother] that told her son they were going to see Santa Claus & her & her boy friend took him out in the desert West of Phoenix & blew him away with a shotgun. That's been some years ago but I still think of what that kid went thru. HOW can someone NOT love them?

I have a 3 year old daughter at home and a baby girl on the way (feb 21st) I have no idea how somebody could do somethinglike this. I want to use words that are not allowed on this site. It make you want to become "The Punisher" and serve your own justice on people like this. I know if I had the chance I would shw these people my justice system.

Having experienced things like this as a young child (with the exception of
the part about dying) I can't even begin to tell you the feelings this brings
up. Depraved indifference, indeed.

ps Dave.. I almost choked on my coffee when I saw that sig. line

I am usually a very callused individual when it comes to stories like this. This story makes me sad and also makes me want to do to those two what they did to that child.

Having worked with DOC inmates...from their stories, I believe most of them share the same sentiments and are properly positioned to "deliver".

I followed this story from day one...sure is heart wrenching.

You get the idea:

This has been in the news here everyday.... each of the "parents" are blaming the other. IMNSHO, the death penalty is too good for either of them. Both should be sentenced to life in prison with no parole. The only reason I say this is because of the treatment they will most likely receive from the other inmates.

As long as they are sentenced...it really won't matter for how long. They WILL wish for death sentence.

There is no punishment that fits this crime. Nothing can be done to those two "people" that will in any way equate to justice. Poor little girl.

Unfortunatly with the press making it front page news, they probably have a one way ticket to a 'safe' jail where they'll be kept safe from other prisoners. They tend to do that with high profile killers like them.

Here's the good news: the prisons in Texas are regular houses of horror, and our high profile inmates don't get special treatment. If convicted, these folks will go to the regular state penitentiary where they will be subject to all sorts of abuse.

I dont think they should get the death sentence.. thats too much of a easy out.. let them spend every day of their miserable lifes rotting in prison before getting their real punishment..

I am sure they will get a nice welcoming in prison as well. The general population will treat them "good"

Another one I cant wait to see serve life in prison is the casey anthony. That whole family is messed up in the head as well.

What a beautiful child. Makes you wish you could have been there to protect her. God help me if I had been there because I might have done something horrible to the both of them. I just don't understand.

I have a friend in law enforcement and confided in him about how can you take someone like this to jail where as I would want to do the they tried to escape routine. He told me it was their job to make sure everyone has a fair trial but that didn't mean he couldn't slam his brakes several times on the way to jail to keep from hitting falling meteors or airplanes and if you don't buckle them in that metal cage does a good job at making waffle faces.
Sorry I have to admire are law enforcement at times like this because I'm not strong willed enough to keep them safe.
We've had a couple tragedy's in our area like these over the years and they always put the person in bullet proof vest when they move them. Shame they didn' do that for the children.
