New design that just kind of presented itself when I was making other blanks. It's more sized for a GT2, a little long for a Sierra. Woods are Black Limba, Zircote, Cumuru & Maple. Don't know what it will look like turned, but the blank is cool looking.

Very interesting, Ken. I like the look of it.
As you say...you never know what you've got til' it's turned.
I would sit and look at it for a while longer before it goes onto the lathe.

I'd say it's more than just cool. The circle in the middle would be a good place to inlay an Opal or some crystal.

I like the blank a lot. There's a lot of things to look at. I like Kenny's idea about an accent in the circle.

Not meant to be. I could put a new end piece in, but I don't like it that well.

I was worried about the end grain in the middle. That turned fine. Foiled by a simple end cap.
