Just finished! (Pen & Pencil Set)

Just finished a California Redwood Pen and Pencil set. Turned out really nice. I have never taken pic's, but will try to take a shot tomorrow and post on "showing of pens". Has anyone out there turned redwood? What did you use to finish the wood?

Redwood burl looks really great. Did you use burl or plain redwood? I used a few coats of HUT wax and then some friction polish when I first started turning.

But, you know, Dale, here we say "No picture, no pen." :biggrin:

I used regular redwood - Some really pretty knots... finished with Hut and followed up with Rennisance Wax. Seemed to work really well!

Always use CA. Redwood looks nice I still have a few to turn.
