June 17 meeting

The June 17, 2017 pen meeting will be from 10 am to 2 pm in the shop at the Arkansas School for the Blind at 2600 West Markham, Little Rock, AR 72205. Follow signs to the Vocational Building located on the ground floor. There is a ramp at the ground level and an elevator at the upper level.

The purpose of the meeting is to prepare pen blanks for the V.A. Pen Project, pen trade, visit, and if anybody is interested, a tour of the school.

Bring your own lunch. Water, diet cokes, regular cokes, and coffee will be furnished.

I will appreciate it if someone brings a pen vise and a facing tool.

I plan on being there also. What can we bring to help out? Ted

I plan to be there. I also have a bunch of wood spindles (approx. 10") of walnut, maple, and cypress that I can bring if someone wants to cut them, drill them and face them (bring your own tubes). They are already the proper size (about 7/8" square).
