I got my replacement resin from US Composites yesterday and did a quick cast. I didn't have a feather or gear blank ready, but I wanted to try something right away.
I colored it with powdercoating powder. I was going for blue with red stripes. I really liked the blank, but the red only ended up being aroud the edges. Almost all of it turned away.
I am still reasonably happy with it for a first try.
