I just got a call tonight and I'm scheduled for an important job interview on Thursday at 3:30. It is a much better position than I have now and if I get it I'll have more money to <s>blow</s> <s>spend</s> invest in the hobby:)

For those who are so inclined please pray that it all works out.

Good luck. As a former interviewer if you have any questions let me know. I might be able to give you some tips that I looked for as well as the other interviewers in the room with me.
 
Overall the interview went well. The interviewer was concerned with the fact that the number of people I currently supervise is much fewer than in the new position but I'm not totally out of the running. They have others to interview next week then they will decide who to bring in for the second interview.
I do have a contact who, while not in the direct hiring process does have some influence, told me prior to the interview that I'm one of four that are being considered for two positions so I should still have a good shot. Now it's just wait and see time.
 
Those sound like good odds to me Dale. Best of luck to ya. You know I went through this a few months ago, it can be stressful. Hang in and think positively.
 
Don't forget to send a follow up letter thanking them for the interview. You could also expand on an area or question that was asked in the interview. Good Luck!

Did that as soon as I got home from the interview. Thanks to all and keep up the prayers.
