My computer crashed and I am on my wife's to write this. If I do not responds to someone, I am off line for a while.
I use a Dell Inspiron 9300. When pushing the start button the amber power light displayed on the right side hinge lights up. The hard drive light next to it lights for 3 secs or less and then goes out. No activity on the screen, completely blank. No fan motor activity. We replaced and returned the hard drive as well as new RAM. Now it is down to the mother board or CPU. We changed power source and no different activity.
Anyone had experience with this issue??

Nope, I gave up and ordered a new one.

Too Late

Well if it isn't too late....go custom rather than off the shelf. I had my last one (this one) built and it's great. Cost a little more than off the shelf but matches my needs much better and there is a guy (the owner of the company that built it) who knows exactly what it is if it ever breaks.

If you were closer I would come over and take a look. I like tinkering with computers. I am no expert but I know where to find answers at.
