I read that you are better off buying Tormek accs instead.

No first hand experience though.

Not sure this will help a lot. but i have the varigrind attachment for the wolverine. as well as the jig to hold gouges. I also wish i had the skew jig and stone dressing tool.
if those four are offered for the wet grinder i would recommend all of them.

Again, no experience with it, but have heard that the jet system with Tormek accessories is the best bang for your buck....

From a couple of woodworkers, I heard the same thing. On one review that was linked here a few months ago, the review gave an equal rating to both basic systems. But Tormek had the better accessories.

The $185 is not a bad price at all. But by the time I finished adding the few extras I think I would need/want, the total comes to just over $400. Guess I'll just wait a while longer (like after my property taxes are due)before I shell out that much.

The more I thought about it today, I really wanted the sharpener. Glad I waited. Went back to Amazon tonight and got it on sale for $167.25.
